Thai Yoga Massage

It is my great pleasure to offer you the delicious stretches, openings and relaxation of Thai Yoga Massage. In these days of intensity, the safety, deep presence and sanctuary of calm that your nervous system craves awaits you.

In a Thai Yoga Massage, I gently rock and ease your body into yoga-like positions and stretches massaging your muscles to the depth and pressure you desire. You receive the benefits of a yoga class (I can help you move more deeply into poses if you wish) and the blissful relaxation that comes with receiving massage.

Some postures are best given in a seated position but most are received as you lie on a soft and supportive mat. While you relax in loose comfortable clothing, I support and guide you into a state of very deep and regenerative relaxation.

Thai Yoga Massage is both relaxing and invigorating. Stiffness and pain are eased and relieved as I massage and soften your tense muscles and gently open the energy lines (known as sen lines or meridians) of your body. Blocked energy and emotions find release and integration, allowing you to enter a deep state of relaxation, peace and well-being.

The combined actions of stretches, twists and massage result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.

Thai Steaming Herbs

Thai Steaming herbs are wonderfully soothing compresses whose use dates back thousands of years as a practice to help bring relaxation and healing to the body. Each compress is packed with gorgeously aromatic and medicinal herbs: plai (ginger), turmeric, pendanus, camphor, lemongrass, kaffir lime, cinnamon & menthol.

The gorgeous scent that fills the air helps uplift depression and clear congestion in the chest. Their application to the body brings soothing heat to tired and sore muscles and joints inviting relaxation, release and increased blood flow. The steam releases the oils in the herbs and brings their anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties to the body.

It is my pleasure to offer Steaming Herbs Thai Yoga Massage, a combination of both ancient practices to soothe, nourish, open and relax you.

Testimonials

“Thai Yoga Massage is a treatment where one feels in relation to the practitioner. I felt such a deep warmth and trust for Sarah. I felt in good hands, in the presence of a good heart. Our time together was a kind of a dance, with beautiful movements and creativity and joy and laughter and attention. It felt the embodiment of loving Kindness.”

I must admit, I had no idea what Thai Massage was but I knew Sarah and I trusted her! I live with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and a few other things I’ve been labeled over the years. I am mostly afraid of everything but for an hour or so Sarah took me inside my body, outside my mind and into a place of self care I have never known. The space was peaceful and enchanting and the fresh flowers, the glass of water the music and the movement allowed me at least a few days of compassion for myself. I look forward to making this part of my weekly ritual of self care. I suggest you go for a swim after and let the mermaid take it all in xo”

“I’ve never had bodywork to facilitate an energetic process before. Last weekend I went into a deep process that I had difficulty feeling my way through. At first I was reluctant to reach out for assistance, but I’m glad I did. I surrendered my body to Sarah and my spirit to my Kore story. We had it playing in the background. My body holds all the things my spirit could no longer bear. The combination of gentle stretching and massage assisted in opening me up, helping to release what I was ready to release. It was an amazing visceral experience. So productive, I knew I wanted to do it again, this weekend.”

“When spirit meets flesh and takes up residence, there is a sacred union …
a union born of trust
a coming home
a symphonic choral threading
a beautific flowering
a profound recognition
a remembering
a reclaiming
a blessing beyond words ...
This is Sarah’s Gift … tenderly breathing spirit into and through the body.”
